Cosquín 2017 / Homaje to Chuchi Leguizamón

Earlier this year I worked on a series of painting that illustrated each song of the great work "Homage to Cuchi Leguizamón" at the Cosquín Festival. Ideas and direction of Popi Spatocco.

A principios de este año trabajé en una serie de ilustraciones que acompañaron cada tema de el inmenso trabajo "Homenaje al Cuchi Leguizamón" en el Festival de Cosquín. Todo sobre ideas y dirección de Popi Spatocco.

The results of the SND prizes with headquarters in the USA, the biggest design contest for the world and ... wow! we are first in Infographics. There were no golds and Clarín was the only newspaper that won 2 silver medals: La Ballena and El Cóndor.

Salieron los resultados de los premios de la SND con sede en EEUU, el mayor certamen de diseño de diarios del mundo y... epa! quedamos primeros en Infografía. No hubo oros y Clarin fue el único periódico que sacó 2 medallas de plata: La Ballena y El Condor.

"Best of Bologna" Showcases Children's Illustrators

The exhibit "Best of Bologna: Edgiest Artists of the 2008 International Children's Book Fair" in Northwestern's Deering Library highlights the work of 23 artists whose illustrations were included in the 2008 Illustrators Exhibit. For each artist, it was displayed one large high-resolution reproduction, attractively matted and mounted, a photograph of each artist. It was also showed a movie created by Ayami Moriizumi about the Bologna Fair and Illustrators Exhibit. "Best of Bologna" could be seen until October 8, 2009.

En la exhibición "Best of Bologna: Edgiest Artists of the 2008 International Children's Book Fair" en la Northwestern's Deering Library destacan el trabajo de 23 artistas cuyas ilustraciones fueron incluidas en la exhibición de ilustradores de 2008. Por cada artista mostró una reproducción grande en alta resolución. También se muestra una película creada por Ayami Moriizumi sobre la exposición de Bologna. "Best of Bologna" se pudo ver hasta el 8 de octubre de 2009.

CJ Book

I have the Catalog of the CJ Illustration Contest, organized by the cultural foundation CJ of South Korea in the First CJ Fair of Illustrated Album. They selected some drawings from a story we did with Federico Reggiani: "History of a dog that hated the moon". From Argentina they also selected María Paula Dufour, she made some illustrations with fabric collage: "The Time of the Sea". The illustrations were exhibited from January 21 to March 1, 2009, at the Sungkok Art Museum in Seoul.

Tengo el Catálogo del Concurso CJ de Ilustración, convocado por la fundación cultural CJ de Corea del Sur en el marco de la Primera Feria CJ de Álbum Ilustrado.

Seleccionaron unos dibujos de un cuento que hicimos con Federico Reggiani: "Historia de un perro que odiaba a la luna". De Argentina también seleccionaron a María Paula Dufour quien hizo unas ilustraciones con collage de telas: "The Time of the Sea". La muestra con las ilustraciones seleccionadas fueron expuestas desde el 21 de enero al 1º de marzo, 2009, en el Museo de Arte Sungkok en Seúl.
